Abstract: The effectiveness of adaptive learning technologies in technical education is critical for personalized learning and skill acquisition. This study investigates how adaptive learning technologies enhance student learning experiences and outcomes in technical education. The objectives are: (1) to assess the impact of adaptive learning technologies on student performance and engagement, (2) to evaluate educator readiness and attitudes towards these technologies, and (3) to identify challenges and best practices in implementing adaptive learning technologies. A survey research design is used, justified by the need to gather comprehensive feedback from students and educators. The sample size includes 250 participants selected through purposive sampling. The case study focuses on technical schools in Ogun State, known for their adoption of innovative teaching methods. Findings indicated that adaptive learning technologies significantly improved student engagement and performance by providing personalized learning paths and immediate feedback. However, challenges such as technical issues and resistance to change were noted. Recommendations included providing professional development for educators, investing in reliable technology infrastructure, and continuously evaluating and updating adaptive learning tools.
